Vintage Leedy, 1940's "Broadway" Parallel, metal shell snare drum shell. This drum is missing its hoops, tension rods and heads. The original white lacquer finish has largely chipped off of the "Spun Metal Shell" (see page below from the 1943 Leedy catalog).
The original snare wires and muffler are still there. The parallel throw-off mechanism still works great. No extra holes or dents.
This project drum is really close to being complete. Just be sure to send me some pics when you're all done!
