Balaguer Guitars' "Thicket Standard" is an original body design with a traditional feel, aimed at the next generation of players.

The body is made of alder and features an elbow cut, back cut, heel cut for stress-free access to the high frets, and a scoop cut on the back side cutaway for easy playability.

The neck is made of loin-studded maple and is jointed to the body with a plate-less 4-point bolt-on system.

The fingerboard is also made of loin-studded maple with black dot position marks.

The frets are made of hard stainless steel, and the fingerboard end has a truss rod adjustment wheel.

In addition, the side position marks are embedded with "Luminlay®" high-performance luminescent dot position marks that enhance visibility on dark stages.

The bridge and neck pickups are both mounted with Feral humbuckers manufactured to the same specifications as the original U.S. pickups, and feature 1-volume, tone with coil tap switch, and 3-way pickup selector switch.

The standard series Feral humbuckers use thick Alnico V magnets to deliver high output with depth and finesse to match the heavy sound of the Feral (= feral, ferocious) pickups.

Locking tuners are used for tuning stability.

The bridge is equipped with a hip-shot fixed bridge with string-through-body design.

The color is gloss pastel pink.
