This guitar was lovingly built by Jimmy Foster in the 1990’s. It is an instrument built to play jazz, primarily. I have been told by my luthier that the truss rod just keeps turning in the body which likely means that it is broken and is not an issue with just the truss rod nut. I have agonized over whether to sell it or not. It’s an incredible instrument, in addition to being a very rare collectible item, as Jimmy is no longer with us. This instrument is up for sale for those who have the skills to be able to do the work on it themselves or have the connections to get it fixed at an affordable price. I no longer play 7-string professionally and I’d rather it go to a player who will use it and is well-informed about its repair needs. I will be very particular about the home it ends up in. Please let me know if you have questions, I’ll be happy to answer them. The price is fixed for now but if you have serious interest we can work something out that satisfies both parties.
