Universal Audio Solo/610 Desktop Tube Mic Preamp & DI

Record through the legendary Putnam 610 console tube circuit with the Universal Audio Solo/610, direct from The OC Recording Company. The Solo/610 delivers the silky, vintage warmth of Bill Putnam's iconic 610 console mic amp — the sound behind countless classic recordings — in a rugged, portable desktop format. From adding tube girth to vocals to fattening up direct bass, this all-tube preamp flatters everything you put through it.

Unlike its predecessors, the Solo/610 features continuous gain control with extended range for precise gain structuring — run it clean or push the tubes for rich, colored saturation. Dual selectable impedance on both the Mic and DI inputs unlocks a wide palette of tonal options from any microphone or instrument.
