This Partscaster is in excellent condition made with quality parts. The Fender Squier Classic Vibe Strat body does have some pick scratches that will buff out. The neck is a brand new WD Music SNVR. I checked the fret and they were level and I filed the fret ends and polished them. All the electronics have been upgraded with Mojotone CTS vintage pots, Oak Grigsby 5 way switch, Switchcraft jack and RH Factor 60s Blues pickups.

"The F decal" ripped a little when I was wiping down the headstock. I will send another one with the guitar.

Note:  The tremolo block was upgrades to a full size brass block. The stock one was junk! It also has Fender stamped saddles with the correct 2 1/16" string spacing.

This Strat body was made from Alder in China between 2015-2018. This is one of the good ones.

You might think that the price is a little high for a Squier Classic Vibe Partscaster, but you have to look at all the upgrades that were done to this one. The older Classic Vibe Strats made before 2019 in my opinion are much better guitar than the ones manufactured in Indonesia. This one was manufactured in 2015. I have upgraded the pickups, electronics, nut, bridge and added new pickup covers, switch tips, knobs and trem cover. I used all quality products for the upgrades.

This one weighs in at 8 pounds 4.4 ounces pounds.

Pickups:

When I received this loaded guitar body, the wiring was a mess. The pickguard was warped so I replaced with a 3 ply W/B/W. The pickup wires were too short. I do not like adding wire to make it to the switch so I replaced the pickups with a set of my brand RH Factor Pickups 60's Blues set. They have that 60's tone with a strong mid-range (scooped mid range) with slightly degaussed AlNiCo 5 magnets (E,A,D) and fiber bobbins with grey bottom.

Nut:
I also replace the synthetic nut with a 42mm bone nut. The fitting is tight in the nut slot and I DID NOT glue it in so you could fine tune it to the action you want. I filed the string slots so it will accommodate 9's or 10's. If you play with heavier gauge strings than 10's, then you will need to widen the slots. If you want the nut glued in let me know.
