This is an awesome axe. Something about the combination of a rock-solid plywood body and Slammer's hot, cheap, ceramic pickups, makes the strange magic that makes this thing sing. Look 'em up on the interwebs. People, including us, love these things. Sure, you could take the bulletproof bones of this thing and hot-rod the crap out of them with some fancy pickups and wiring and stuff, but why? This thing rocks on every level, as is. The bright glassy smoothness of the clean tones give way to some swampy. overdriven sounds, which then lead into hard, sustaining distortion. We've had a lot of these things in our day. For the price, they're freekin' fantastic!! Even better if you put some real tuners on them...
