VERY RARE J. Farré (see-through) guitar A PIECE OF ART

Josep Farré was born in Barcelona in 1922. He started his career as a cabinetmaker and began to build guitars in 1954 working for several brands. In 1975, he set up his own workshop on the Calle San Félix, Vilafranca del Penedès near Barcelona, where he continued making guitars until his retirement. His guitars show influences of José Ramirez and Ignacio Fleta.

This guitar is a piece of art! A collectors item! It was done by Josep Farré in 1985. Farré created a guitar that almost seems like an anatomical model where the top is cedar and the back and sides are acrylic glass. In fact, it allows not only to study the role of the top on the sound of the guitar, but also to have a clear insight and understanding of the internal structure of this complex instrument.
