Westone Rainbow II – made in the Matsumoku factory Japan in 1982/3. Its in a superb condition with a fully bound body, neck soundholes and headstock and with a glued in mahogany neck.
The Rainbow II has gold hardware and this does show some wear from use as would be expected. There is a small black scratchplate, and two Super Twin 750 pickups each with volume and tone controls and a three-way pickup switch The bridge is fully adjustable and the tailpiece is a stopbar.
The fingerboard is in ebony and contains 22 frets with large mother-of-pearl inlays; and the headstock has the ”Westone” logo, truss rod cover stamped ”Rainbow II” and the Westone three on a side tuners. (The push in back of one tuner is missing). Just below the headstock is the original ”made in Japan” sticker.
The action on this guitar is low and its very playable in an excellent condition
