Kenny Hill Panormo 1997
Modern Replica of 19th Century Guitar
Not in production anymore, but the guys at Hill tells me it is a Spruce Top with Zircote wood back and sides.
It is a great sounding guitar and also a very nice smaller size classical guitar. If you live between NYC and Philly, (Jersey Included!) we can possible arrange for you to try the guitar.
630mm Scale French Polish
Narrower Nut (probably 46mm to 48mm)
Has a Lightweight Truss Rod
Good Fitting Case which is visible on the sofa on the first picture.
Nice to play 19th Century Music such as Guiliani or Sor on a traditional instrument or just to have a nice smaller size guitar.
Please feel free to ask me any questions about the instrument.
There is a long crack on the back that has been expertly repaired by Brooklyn Luthier. I've tried my best to photograph the crack, but at some angles it looks more like just a finish mark as it hasn't affected the shape of the instrument. The front and sides just have finish marks as I have documented in the photos and are otherwise in great condition.
The instrument has been humidified properly with the crack being due to the way I came across this guitar when I bought it from a lesser known luthier many years ago.
If you are in Central New Jersey or possibly some areas nearby, it is possible that we can arrange for you to try the instrument without any commitment (depending on logistic/covid issues).
I am selling the instrument because the narrower nut is an issue for me and I have switched to larger nut-width classicals with a radius fingerboard...mostly another Kenny Hill on which I had radius put on by the same Luther who worked on this guitar for me.
