About This Listing

This is the rare Teardrop Bass by Heinz Seifert. Mr. Seifert was among the most skilled and most sought after luthiers of the german guitar world. His luthier shop was a smaller one, only focussing on extremly high quality instruments, made for musicians. In 1955 he became a luthier in the "Migma" union. The "Favorit" guitars where his house brand, not a certain model how many people think, indicating that the guitar was made exclusivly by him.

I only saw this model twice as a bass version, a super rare piece. The top is made out of solid carved german spruce, the rest is german spruce too. The fretboard is made out of rosewood.

The condition is extremly good for its age and its 100% original. The bass was definetly played and is a real vintage object, but fully works and actually plays quite nice too. The action is great and the frets are clean with still a lot of meat. Electric is fully functioning. The fretboard was cleaned and the frets polished.

The guitar can be played immediatly.

About shipping:

I ship worldwide with DHL and with the DHL-shipping insurance wich goes up to 500โ‚ฌ. I am not going to lie to you or blandish a possible transport risk like some other people do. International shipping can be dangerous and packages are sometimes treated roughly. If you however choose to have an international shipment, I will do my absolute best to protect the guitar. I have collected a lot of experience in the past on how to ship a guitar securely. I will take photos of the packaging and the exact condition of the guitar right before I ship it. You should know, that after shipping the guitar and entering the shipping number, I am not responsible for anything anymore and my job is done. But I will gladly back you up with the insurance case with said photos and exact details in the rare case anything goes wrong. The standart insurance I ship all guitars with is up to 500โ‚ฌ. If you want a higher insurance, you can get that, just ask me first. Some countrys outside of the EU also have import taxes, be aware of that. Please note, that international shipping can sometimes take very long, on average 2 weeks for EU shipping and 1 month for intercontinental shipping, but it can take up to 3 times that time in some very rare cases.

Legal:

Taxation after UStG ยง25a. I usually take back everything you buy from me within 14 days after the arrival of the package. The conditions are, that everything is in the original condition I shipped it in and the shipping costs are carryed by the buyer.
