The EX370 is an EX series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1991. It was manufactured in Korea by Cort.
The EX370 has a solid wood body bolted to a one-piece maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with triangle position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions flanking a single coil, a double locking tremolobridge and a locking nut. The humbuckers are mounted with pickup rings.
For the US market, the EX370's body is basswood; European EX370s are made of alder.
The EX370 featured a traditional neck joint with a metal plate through 1991. Starting in mid-1992 it has the sculpted All-access neck joint which does away with the metal plate. Also in 1992, the TRS-101 tremolo was replaced with a new lower-profile version.
In 1993 US-spec EX370s got a new 24-fret neck.
The EX370FM is a similar model with a flame maple top and gold hardware. The EX350 is a similar model with a pickguard. The EX360 is a related model with a single coil pickup replacing the humbucker in the neck position. The EX270is a related model with a single-locking tremolo among other differences.
The EX370 was discontinued after 1993 along with the rest of the EX line.
