Westone Thunder II electric bass guitar made in the Matsumoku in Japan in 1981. the Thunder II basses are quite rare and this one is in the rare colour of Savannah Yellow. It has a solid body of canadian Ash with a through body neck of maple and walnut, and with a twenty-four fret ebony fretboard with snowflake fret inlays. There are two slit-coil magnet F675 pickups with a three-way pickup selector switch. In addition there are three micro switches - in and out of phase dual tone (series parallel) - active tone. The three knobs control the volume and active and passive tone. The nut, the three knobs and the complete bridge tailpiece are all in brass, and the backplates are in anodised aluminium and show very minor scratches from use.
This bass is in a superb condition and plays extremely well. It is a beautiful looking bass in a rare colour and is a very desirable model.
