This 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom plays like a dream and sounds exactly how a Les Paul should. It's been gigged hard since the early 80’s. Seymour Duncan 59’s, upgraded tuners at some point. Factory second most likely due to the weight. The back of the headstock was sanded possibly due to the tuner replacement. There is a lot of mystique about this guitar. This Gibson is a player, not a showpiece. Beautiful tone and the sustain is insane.
I'm selling it to get my wife a J-45.
There are no cracks or major issues. All blemishes are strictly cosmetic. You will not be disappointed.
