About This Listing

For sale is a 2002 Glen McKerrihan Anastasia Special. This is an example of top-level work from an individual luthier who is estimated to have made only about 80-100 pieces. The Anastasia is his premium model, with a look, feel and sound second to none. Glen has since stopped making guitars, but this was a masterpiece of his singular build-vision. This gently played instrument is in mint condition, with it's stunning wood choices and premium appointments.
Spruce top, flame maple back & sides, multi-layered body binding, five piece flame maple neck with accents, ebony bridge & tailpiece, walnut pickguard, burled walnut head stock, "fan" mother of pearl & abalone fret inlay, single floating Bartolini pickup.
This is a hand-built, one-of-a-kind Jazz instrument made at the top of this builder's game. Rare find and an excellent addition to any collection. Includes the hand tooled leather cream/tan case. Thanks very much for viewing.

(lower bout is 17" across, weight is 6 lbs. and the scale length is 25.5")
