The Saturnworks 2-patch summer/splitter switch can perform a variety of fucntions. In one toggle position it is a 2-channel pedalboard patch bay. In the other toggle position, it is a passive splitter/combiner/summing pedal that allows you to split one signal into two, or combine two signals into one.* It can also be used to passively sum a stereo signal into a mono signal.

This Saturnworks pedal is loaded with boutique-grade components and features including:

• Unlike simple splitter/combiners or Y-cables, which just wire the jacks together, the Saturnworks splitter/combiner utilizes summing resistors to minimize crosstalk -- in other words, the level of one signal affecting the level of the other.
• Heavy-duty 1/4” TS Neutrik jacks.
• At 3.5" x 1.5" x 1" (1590A size) the Saturnworks splitter/combiner saves precious space on your board.
• A passive design that doesn't require power to function.

*Please note: Being passive, if used as a splitter, it is best used with a buffered signal to prevent tone loss. If you need a buffer, please check out our listing for the Saturnworks buffer. If used as a summer, passive summers work best when combining signals with similar impedance: instrument level + instrument level, for example.
