RETIREMENT YEARS

I AM RETIRING GRADUALLY SO MUCH OF MY

GEAR IS HALF PRICE OR BETTER.

THIS BASS NEEDS AN ELECTRONIX FIX.

I DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE GUITAR OR WHO MODIFIED IT.

IT LOOKS REALLY COOL, BUT JUST DOESN'T GET A SOUND.

IT LIKELY WORKED AFTER MODIFICATION, BUT THEN

AFTER SOME TIME, SOUND WAS NOT PRODUCED.

THE MIGHTMITE PICKUP MAY OR MAY NOT

HAVE BEEN ORIGINAL.

THERE'S SOME RESIDUAL STICKER CRAP ON THE BACK THAT SHOULD BE EASY TO REMOVE WITH A LIGHT SOLVENT. THE CREAM-COLORED PAINT COULD USE A REPAINT IN THOSE AREAS WHERE THE WOOD IS SHOWING THROUGH.

THIS BASS IS TOO HEAVY TO REASONABLY SHIP, SO LOCAL PICKUP ONLY

THIS BASS GUITAR IS SOLD FOR REPAIR OR PARTS.

THE NECK ALONE IS WORTH $225. YOU ALSO

GET THE ORIGINAL HARD SHELL CASE.

LOCAL PICKUP ONLY

THAT IS ...REPEAT. ;LOCAL PICKUP ONLY...

I AM RETIRING GRADUALLY ... SO MUCH OF MY

GEAR IS HALF PRICE OR BETTER.

HERE IS MY SHORT SERMON ON SETTING UP A GUITAR OR BASS:

"GUITAR SETUP AND TERMS OF SALE HERE ON REVERB.COM>>>"

Instruments NEED Setup! No instrument, new or used, comes from any manufacturer or seller, 100% “ready to play” – regardless of brand, price, or quality level.

This surprises many people, parents especially. "Why wouldn't my new OR USED expensive instrument be perfectly adjusted before it leaves the factory or seller?”

That’s a great question! The simple answer is “because they just don’t”>>>There are many reasons behind this (production time quotas, storage methods, humidity, temperature changes, shipping issues, and the fact that the previous owner has different feelings about what is right for him, and the guitar was setup for him, which may not be right for you… such as the action height of the strings, BRIDGE AND PICKUPS>>> In most cases the guitar has never been ‘setup’ at all.)

The simple reality is that instruments rarely arrive in playing perfectly right “out of the box”. ‘SETUP’ is the final phase of a great playing instrument.

For your new ‘used’ guitar, please have a licensed guitar technician check out the pots, electronics and switches for dust (for electric guitars)> Sometimes these need electrical spray to clean them up.

The guitar technician-expert will also adjust the neck and the bridge to suit your tastes. Unless you are a Qualified Licensed Guitar Technician, please to not attempt to ‘change the settings on the neck or bridge’ yourself. This could damage your guitar, literally and sometimes permanently.

Go see a pro technician. They are licensed and insured too. Okay then, happy guitar playing is soon to take place..

TERMS OF SALE:

NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON ON USED EQUIPMENT,

AND USED GEAR NEEDING REPAIR.

DAMAGES DUE TO SHIPPING COMPANIES' NEGLECT

IN TRANSIT ARE CLAIMS THAT

SHOULD BE MADE BY THE BUYER AND TO THE

THE BUYER, BY PURCHASING THE GUITAR,

AGREES TO THESE TERMS OF SALE.
