Jay Turser Double Cut Set Neck Dark Blue dual humbucker pickups

Good looking Jay Turser set neck double cut electric guitar. Found this locally, unsure of year it was produced, model, or where it was made. I love the rich, dark transparent blue color and it is similar to my PRS standard in how the neck shape feels and playability. Overall well made, plays and sounds very good, has a carved top design, unique headstock shape sets it apart from others. Has been taken care of, but does show signs of wear and being played often. Has a pretty transparent dark blue color with a gloss finish. Nice wood grain around bridge area on front. Upper headstock area is a blueish teal. I assume it is Mahogany from what wood I can see in bridge cavity. Chrome tuners function decently, no slipping or sloppiness. Used a light amount of wood glue to put in a higher nut, will include the original one too. Cleaned and conditioned the beautiful fretboard, looks like Rosewood. Frets are worn as you can see from pictures, but polished and have life left. They had the floating bridge blocked, I removed block, raised the pin screws, adjusted springs. Tremelo bar isn't original to guitar, but does turn in and works. I've only had one other bridge like this, so you may be able to adjust it better if desired. Has new strings, Ernie Ball super slinky 9-42 guage. String action is pretty level and fairly low. Dual humbucker pickups sound nasty, awesome tones. Three positions of toggle selector switch works well. Volume and tone dials turn fine. I did fill a small hole they had on top of one of the horns for another strap peg. Used blue permanent finish marker to match color. Has some light scratches on front of body, same with back and sides. I did and polish the entire guitar. Neck is smooth and a comfortable C contoured shape. Guitar has a moderate weight, weighs 6 1/2 pounds on my scale. $199 offer includes a new padded gig bag and free shipping to the lower 48 states.
