About This Listing

Shaftesbury Resonator guitar made in Italy in the early seventies. It is really a copy of a much older guitar made in South America by a company called Del Vecchio. This is a very nice looking guitar, very well made as all the Shaftesbury models are and it has a large circular resonator surrounded by six small and two larger covered holes which let out the sound. The guitar is hollow with a fifteen inch wide lower bout and the body is fully bound. The condition is very good with a couple of small marks near the bottom of the body (see last photo). Its a great guitar to play and is a rare model and hard to find.
