Rare Elk EM-5 Professional ECHO machine in original elk case. Awesome!

Vintage Elk EM-5 Professional ECHO machine with original case and a copy of the manual.

This is a rare, sought after ELK tape echo machine.  I opened it up and hit the pots, jacks and switches, cleaned the heads, lubricated everything, etc. It sounds great and makes sweet echos. 

The VU meter is really responsive and overall this is really nice. This has been in my collection for about 4 years but I recently found one marginally better so this is going up. It has a few scratches and some surface rust, the blue cover is cracked in the right front corner, -See pictures and video.

2 inputs. 3 mode choices, repeat amount, echo volume and speed control. Works on 100v to 117v without a converter. These are really unique machines. They work from the case if you want to travel with it but really look nice out of the case.

I linked to a video demo of the last EM-5 I sold and a Yamaha EM-85 together.  This machine sounds better than the one in the Youtube video.

You can even spend a night jamming out on vintage gear and crash in the spare room.
