***temp price drop. The price for this guitar has temporarily dropped. It will go back up to 30k in the summer and will be taken off in the winter since I’d rather not drive possibly cross country in the winter. I plan on taking it to an auction in Nashville TN this fall which should be an easy sell. The reason the price is high is due to the new tax rule. Realistically after tax and gas I’ll be looking at 20k. Open to offers especially if you live close to Indiana. I’ve gotten a few good offers from stores in Illinois and TN. Mods- I replaced the vintage tuners with locking tuners for easier string changes but the original reliced tuners will be included with the locking tuners .I did also have the back of the headstock signed by both Joe Satriani and Steve Vai while they were on their recent tours last year. They loved the guitar and spent some alone time with it hopefully leaving their DNA places ... anyway the signatures can be easily removed if you're not into them. I did replace the pickguard after getting the original signed by the legendary Greg Howe. A new pick guard can easily be special ordered.
Pending mods - as of 4-8-24 this guitar is heading to sweetwater for a complete stainless steel refret and I’ll either change the nut to tusq or bone. I will be preserving the originals frets and nut but they will be included in this sale for whoever buys it if they want it back original. I have requested the best luthier at sweetwater sound to do the work so rest assured that it will play well. The reason why I am doing this is because if this doesn’t sell for the price I want then I will play the guitar every day until I die. I’m only 29 and I don’t ever want to worry about a re fret or having the original frets worn.
"Mint" condition heavy relic 2021 masterbuilt tele Brazilian rosewood fretboard and neck with OHSC and all case candy. Probably the nicest grain of Brazilian rosewood you will ever see. I did not upload the best pictures , I’m not very good at picture taking but I do have the original stock pictures that were professionally taken. Per reverb policy I cannot upload them but I can provide them via email if you like to see more professional pics,This is an amazing investment piece. Eventually Brazilian rosewood won’t be available and eventually Dennis will retire. I have no doubt this piece can be worth 6 figures in the future. I initially planned on keeping it in the family and passing it down but recently there were some powerful tornadoes nearby that wiped out houses and made me worried about keeping something like this in my home. I have played it but never outdoors. I only play it to keep the frets from oxidizing. Hands down one of the best guitars I’ve ever played.
