I handmade this solid woods pickguard myself. Size-wise is a direct copy / replica of a James D’Aquisto -made scratch plate. It has the same shape, and thickness as the original 1979 example that was in my possession for a while (no longer unfortunately)
Still, I experimented with the woods (ebony, walnut, paduk, and wenge) ; as well as with the red / white binding , to make it unique. Actually, I intended it for a guitar that I was to construct, but that project never happened… so thats the reason it is for sale here now. Only one available.
Never installed, no mounting hardware included.
