EKO - S300 Sunburst gaucher

On ne présente plus la silhouette indémodable qui a inspiré la conception de la S300 : une double échancrure caractéristique garante d'un excellent accès aux dernières cases, trois micros simples, un bloc chevalet/vibrato bien connu. Cette configuration classique a été reprise par le fabricant italien Eko afin de faire de la S300 une guitare accessible et ergonomique avec son poids plume et ses courbes accueillantes, mais surtout très polyvalente pour les guitaristes en herbe.

La lutherie de la S300 a été réalisée avec le plus grand soin afin de proposer aux guitaristes une guitare agréable à jouer comme à regarder. Le corps, fabriqué à partir de tilleul afin d'offrir une bonne robustesse, est mis en valeur par un vernis brillant. Le manche vissé 4 points en érable, robuste et confortable, est surplombé d'une touche en résine WPC (Wood Polymers Composites) apportant douceur et stabilité au claquant de l’érable.

Côté électronique, la S300 présente 3 micros simple bobinage à la polyvalence reconnue. Très à l'aise sur les sons clairs et les légères saturations, ils peuvent également être très mordants lorsqu'ils sont associés à une distorsion puissante. Le sélecteur 5 positions élargit la gamme de tonalités offerte par l'instrument, avec trois positions (basse, centrale et haute) associées à chacun des trois micros offrant des sons francs et puissants, et deux positions intermédiaires câblées en parallèle permettant d'obtenir des sons plus creusés et veloutés. Le bloc vibrato intègre des pontets réglables indépendamment pour ajuster au mieux l'action et l'harmonique de chaque corde, et un vibrato classique pour apporter un peu de caractère au jeu.

EKO - S300 Sunburst Left Handed

We no longer need to present the timeless silhouette that inspired the design of the S300: a characteristic double cutout guaranteeing excellent access to the last frets, three single pickups, a well-known bridge/vibrato block. This classic configuration has been taken over by the Italian manufacturer Eko in order to make the S300 an accessible and ergonomic guitar with its light weight and welcoming curves, but above all very versatile for budding guitarists.

The violin of the S300 has been made with the greatest care in order to offer guitarists a guitar that is pleasant to play as well as to look at. The body, made from basswood to provide good robustness, is highlighted by a glossy varnish. The 4-point bolt-on maple neck, sturdy and comfortable, is topped with a WPC (Wood Polymers Composites) resin fingerboard providing softness and stability to the slamming of the maple.

On the electronic side, the S300 has 3 single coil pickups with recognized versatility. Very comfortable on clean sounds and slight overdrives, they can also be very biting when combined with powerful distortion. The 5-position selector expands the range of tones offered by the instrument, with three positions (low, middle and high) associated with each of the three pickups offering frank and powerful sounds, and two intermediate positions wired in parallel allowing to obtain more hollow and velvety sounds. The vibrato block incorporates independently adjustable saddles to best adjust the action and harmonics of each string, and a classic vibrato to bring a little character to the game.
