1962 Silvertone H61, Built by Kay
Fresh Setup, New Picguard, Hard Shell Case
Here's a survivor! Beautiful looking and sounding instrument which is surprisingly very easy to play. Action is exceptional. I suppose that makes sense, as this was one of the 'harmony built' guitars, as opposed to the 'kay built' silvertones.
It also features block fret markers; which are sprayed on. They aren't inlayed. In any case it's a nice effect.
The H612 was only offered for about a year, in between 1962 and 1963.
