This is one of our favorite amps that Noel Gallagher is selling from his private collection.
This Watkins Westminster was produced sometime in the early-1960s.
This amp rates at about 14 watts and is one of those secret-weapon amps in studios and player collections. Warm, and rich overdrive at low volumes that are perfect for recording applications — set the overdrive pedals aside and use the real thing.
It’s pretty worn, but it’s over 50 years old so that’s to be expected. Note that the control panel has sunk in a little bit.
Buyers from outside the UK, please be aware that the power on these pieces are setup for 240 V operation.
