Our users rate Reverb
- PLAY AT CONVERSATION LEVEL: Meinl HCS Practice Cymbals let you play full out any time of day in just about any space without disturbing people around you; you'll get real cymbal feel and reaction at a fraction of the volume
- WHY IT MATTERS: you get to practice more so you improve faster; and since these Practice Cymbals feel like a real setup, your muscle memory won't be out of touch when you switch to your actual kit
- REALITY CHECK: we make these with the same durable brass alloy as our standard HCS cymbals so you get an enjoyable, musical tone from edge to bell; other companies use cheaper alloys like stainless steel (also made with stainless: pots and pans)
- HOW IT WORKS: our hole pattern knocks off weight and interrupts vibration through the brass to bring volume down without shortchanging tone quality; it boils down to less cymbal material—> less noise—> NOT a lesser tone
- ONE TAKEAWAY: these play like real cymbals with significantly reduced volume, but they aren't made to be butterfly-wing-flap silent (they're still cymbals); they do let you fully engage during practice without terrorizing your dog or neighbors with sound
- ZOOM IN: you can study your timing, accuracy, and dynamics on HCS Practice Cymbals in high definition; get instant feedback from the cymbal with sound and touch worlds better than a rubber mute stuck over your favorite ride can do
- THE BOTTOM LINE: your neighbors will be happy, your ears will stop ringing, and your ability will only go up; plus, you can play these cymbals at quieter gigs on a compact kit or with a cajon so you don’t have to worry about overtaking the mix
- THE BIG PICTURE: Meinl is a family-owned musical instrument manufacturer and brand established 1951 in Germany; our expert German designers have deep relationships with our builders to ensure you're delivered the absolute finest quality
