These are the mouthpieces that started the Wick tradition. Born from the need of a performing musician that needed to create a product to produce better musical results compared to anything that was currently available, Denis Wick started making mouthpieces for himself and his London Symphony Orchestra colleagues in 1968. These trombone mouthpieces allow the player to achieve clarity, warmth and beauty of sound that they are looking for.
5AL: Large shank; 25.73mm cup diameter; 6.64mm rim width; 7.30mm throat; Barrel backbore. Perfect for wind ensemble and symphonic work. Deep cup and larger bore for improved projection and tone.
