JooDee Les Paul Standard by Daion Yamaki Made In Japan Vintage 1970’s.

This is a rare set neck Les Paul copy out of Japan in the mid 70’s. The script actually says “Les Paul”. A true Lawsuit model guitar.

Pickups are aftermarket Alnico V by GM.

One pot has been replaced with an American made CTS.

A new set of Grover tuners has just been installed .

Bridge and stop tail are original.

Nut has been replaced with a Japanese brass nut.

Frets show average wear for a 45-50 year old guitar. Action is low and plays nicely.

When I bought the guitar there was a crack in the finish on the neck just below the headstock. I sanded it down to see if it went into the wood and it does. The crack is shallow, and does not flex under string tension or affect playability. I put 6 coats of clear poly over the sanded part of the neck. It feels great.

The binding on the front top of body has separated and been glued back on. There is still a small gap between the binding and cap (see pic).

The body is chambered.

Trussrod is free and working.

It comes with the original pick guard and bracket. Bracket has some rust.

The guitar will be professionally packaged and shipped with insurance.

It will be detuned for shipping, hence it will need to be tuned and possibly set up to your playing preferences upon receiving.
