JB Player Sledgehammer II. I believe these are fairly rare as I can't find a record of this model sold online.
JB Players were a model that you would find at record stores in malls back in the 80s. The company was founded by Dana Zacuto (his brother founded Mighty Mite). JB Players were made by Cort Guitars in Korea. (you can see this marked on the tag in the middle of the back).
The Sledgehammer line were HSS superstrats with matching headstocks and active pickups.
The body and neck is near mint physical condition for a guitar from the 80s / 90s guitar. No ding or chips. Just light scratches, mostly on the back. Can't see them without a close-up inspection.
I'm not the original owner but have been told that the additional electronics were meant for a wireless receiver that I do not have.
In the bridge position, there is no sound with the toggle engaged. I don't know if this is by design or not. Its kind of cool as you can use it as a cut off switch and play the solo for Bulls on Parade and other kill switch songs.
