..and it was "cheaper" than other direct competitors!

It's not simple to describe an item like this, it comes from another era but in 1991 it was 10 years forward, if we talk about storage capacities. It' s like an hybrid storage setting Tape/HDD, and the tape are the Exabyte, still around online👌🏼where you can save projects to fast recall from HDD.

The unit is in perfect 100% working order, I've just replaced the battery with a fresh new one, and checked inside for any leaks or burnt components. Nothing of those found 👌🏼

Audio quality is excellent! Components are excellent! I've tested it tracking instrumental from my MPC and wow, without editing nothing, the sum was stunning, with the best frequency separation ever heard before ( much Way better than the hyped Studer units, that I worked on before)  It have its own effect processor, wich is technically and practically the Korg A1 hi permormance signal processor! Special mention for the super smooth and precise faders (Alps K-faders) and top notch components, such as Elna Silnic audiophile capacitors from the PSU to the last before the connectors.

Audio signal remains super clean, A/D converters are WOW and audio never degrades, but it is empowered and optimized to the listener. I really loved it, also the limiting is super efficient!

I found it so much useful to track instrumentals from MPC and synths thanks to the excellent midi connections which never glitch! And with a simple digital converter (AES/EBU -> ADAT) it could be integrated perfectly in a modern setup!

Aesthetically is near perfect, there are very little signs of use, and 2 or 3 scratches dued to the moving process. The rack units are very heavy and difficult to move around.

The entire console was picked up from a super professional studio in the northern hinterland of Rome, Italy, the studio is owned by a great OST composer. just sayin it because it was used with a great care and removed only because of space issues.

The sale includes:

• SL-100C - The Controller surface unit.

• SL-100M - The Main Unit, which is a rack with all the connections and the main boards inside.

• SL-100S - The esoteric Storage Unit, containing 1 HDD (upgradable to three) and the Exabyte reader, with one Exabyte 112M cassette included.

• Samsung AT keyboard to fast rename tracks and projects, very useful

• Shipping this unit is difficult, so I'm offering to bring it personally everywhere in Europe, if possible. I feel more secure this way. I'm sorry that I can't do this thing to approaching customers out of Europe.

As I wrote in the first line, I'm open to offers, and the price is widely manageable, but please consider delivery costs and the excellent condition of the items.
