Kurzweil K2600RS w/ road case

Used by thousands of famous musicians for over 20 years now, this fantastic rack synth has been fully expanded with virtually every option avaiable from Kurzeil. The factory sampling option was installed after the original purchase, so it is actually a K2600RS, even though it says K2600R on the front panel. It has all 3 ROM boards- Piano, Contemporary, and Orchestral, adding hundreds of sounds to the already existing factory pre-sets. The memory is the full 128 MEG, and the operating system has been updated to the highest version, V 4.11 It is in excellent condition-everything has been thoroughly tested and works 100%. The blue screen is strong and bright, as you can see fron the photos. Cosmetically there are a few scrathces on the top of the unit from being taken in and out of a rack, but these are not even visible when it is in a rack. Otherwise it is very clean.

Included are both original owners manuals, some floppy disks that go with it, and a heavy duty road case. (See photos.) The road case is a floating case, meaning it is a case within a case, so it gives a lot of protection to the unit. If you don't need a case I will sell it without the case for a slight discount if you pick up from me, but I will not ship it without the case. I prefer you pick up from my Westerly, Rhode Island location since the unit is delicate and expensive, but will ship to the continental U.S. as long as the buyer pays all shipping and insurance costs in addition to the purchase price.
