Moog are incredibly pleased to announce their iconic Legacy Modular Synthesizer Model 10, is back in production! Originally produced between 1971 & 1973, the Moog Model 10 is regarded by most to be the finest portable modular system Dr Bob. ever produced

These vintage synths were all built lovingly by hand in the original Trumansburg factory.

The Model 10 found favour with many experimental and noteworthy touring musicians of the era, due to its incredible sound quality, modular flexibility and superb choice of modules, including the very sought after 901 oscillator, 904 low pass filter and 907 filter bank.

Moog\'s Legacy Modular Reissue Model 10 was originally made available in 2018, with a limited production run commissioned, but that run was never completed due to manufacturing restrictions and component shortages - fast forward to 2022 and the Model 10 is back!

All Model Reissue 10\'s are built by hand, by a specialist manufacturing team, using NOS components and traditional construction methods used, just like the original systems. Each synth is painstakingly constructed to provide the most premium feeling, sounding and looking instrument possible.

Each system is housed in Tolex finished marine grade plywood case and includes the following modules:

Key Features of the 2022 Model 10 Build

The individual modules that make up each new Model 10 are engineered and manufactured just as they were over 50 years ago, using traditional wiring methods. Each module is then tested, finished with an aluminum panel, and placed into a custom cabinet before the instrument leaves for its new home.

Each system now includes a host of updates that allow this machine to be more easily integrated into modern studios across the globe.

• An updated onboard power supply now supports a broader range of selectable voltages, including 100v, 120v, 220v, and 240v. For users outside the US, this allows you to power your synthesizer without the need for an external step up/down transformer.
• The system’s redesigned rear panel accommodates an updated main power switch, power lamp, power inlet, grounding lug, and voltage selector switch.
• Model 10 now has improved calibration and tuning reliability, with this current production model holding tighter calibrations with little variance.

The instrument and its contents are packaged with care in preparation for transit anywhere in the world. Model 10 is also internationally recognized as emission, radiation, and safety compliant.
