About This Listing

BRAND NEW. UNPLAYED. ZERO USE.

Update: Please check for a VIDEO / DEMO of the very same model that I just found (under 3 minutes). The video is not of my guitar, neither I created it, just linking it for you to get an idea of what this axe looks like in action.

*Reverb policies don't allow me to list this guitar as "Brand New" because I am not an actual Ibanez Dealer, hence the "Mint" description instead. The only use it had was for testing purposes before, during & after Plek set up & all on board upgrades (New Nut, New Gotoh Tuners, New Schaller Pins etc).

Well, I doubt I could describe this axe any better than above but I'll try as briefly as possible.

Recently arrived, Bran New. The guitar is a self explanatory stunner, pl see the pictures.

I immediately decided after a 2 min test that I would make some modifications in order to make it a phenomenal instrument (not that was anything wrong as it play perfect during the test but I started to consider that I could get much more stability if I did a few few upgrades so... I had it Plekked. While at it, I had the standard plastic Nut replaced for a much better one to add stability, so my luthier cutter me one in Bone & did the usual tweaks; Lube, etc. Then I decided to have installed a set of Japanese Gotoh tuners to add even more stability to the tuning. And finally I installed a genuine pair of German Schaller Pins.

Finally when I got my axe back it was a monster vs the kitten I originally had.

The strings are low now & it's so easy to play; you practically glide on that fretboard without breaking a sweat.

In my opinion this instrument is now ready for a professional musician as it has the chops for it.

However even a beginner or intermediate can have this top gun and not worry about having to spend a fortune in a professional instrument with all the necessary upgrades on board that it has now.

The value? Well all those upgrades cost an approximate total of above AUS$800 (Sounds crazy yes? But that's the value-actually $880.00).

If it seems hard to believe, well do your own maths... and bear in mind that all the extras were not "Discounted"; these were full priced.

Initially I had a plan to keep the axe, hence all the things I spent on to but then I changed my mind as another more important project surfaced; that's why I am selling it.

Ah BTW you can buy this model locally (if Available - at Manny's Music for example for $ 959.00). That's the guitar only as it comes from Ibanez... nothing on board. Zero. Not even a soft case Lol...!

So do your maths.

I'm listing this for $1399.00 to recoup some of the cash already spent on it. As I said before I have a more pressing project that took my attention away from this.

As usual It's Free Shipping Australia Wide (except TASMANIA). If you're in Tassie YOU will have to pay for the shipping as the postage rates to that destination are ridiculous.

Again, I only ship to Australia.

*PayPal payments:

The ONLY PayPal form of payments I will accept is the one where I receive an email from PayPal; I check my account & I see in my account balance your payment. The rest of the scam attempts using fake PayPal emails & stupid "Payment Advices that requires you to put a refundable deposit in order to release funds" or any cue to click here & there and ask to give personal details.... DON'T EVEN BOTHER. A PayPal payment is very simple: You pay. I receive an email advising me I received a payment; I log & check in my account (without using ANY links) & I see the funds in my account. I ship your item or you pick up if you're a local. The end (in that order).

Product Overview
Love the feel and tone of semi-hollow guitars - especially those played by John Scofield and Eric Krasno - but balk at the price tags usually hanging on them? There are plenty of affordable options, but the Ibanez AS73 Artcore might just be the best value among them. If you don't have to have the Gibson body shape, the AS73 is a perfect platform for swapping in upgraded pickups or using as a starter guitar. Find anything else this rad under $350? Good luck.
