Vantage 315 1983 - Natural

Roadworn Matsumoku 1983 Vantage Avenger 315.

Paint has been stripped from body, and it just has a stain+tung oil finish now. Kinda like how you can actually feel the wood. Left it like that since I couldnt decide on whether to refinish it. There a couple of minor spots with woodfilling (see pictures)

Solid Matsumoku quality like all the late 70 and early 80 vantages. Pickups are original, and wiring scheme is original with coil split on the MMK45 in the neck. Some electronics have been swapped (I swapped the switch at least, dunno about the pots).

All hardware is original. Still has original sticker from the store on the back of the headstock.

This one hurts a bit because i absolutely love the fretboard, it has been worn perfectly over the last 40 years, and yet feels very smooth (to me at least).

Neck is straight. Trussrod works. Still life in the frets. Will see if I can find the original strapbuttons (but no promises on that.)
