This Marantz 2230 receiver Introduced in 1972, it has all the classic Marantz attributes such as the brushed silver face plate, blue and red lights and gyro-touch tuner. The 2230 was a nice entry level model from Marantz and it put out 30 watts per channel. Production of the 2230 ended in 1974

It has a number of inputs, including phono, tuner, auxiliary, and tape, as well as tone controls for bass, treble, and midrange.

One notable feature of the 2230 is its blue dial face, which has become a trademark of vintage Marantz receivers. It also has a silver faceplate and wood veneer case, giving it a stylish and classic look.
