NAD Electronics T 785 Audiophile Grade A/V Receiver

DON'T BE CONFUSED! Search engines often invert the "85" and pull up the model T 758 - which is its lesser capable sibling. This unit really is two amps in one: 1) An audiophile grade, two channel stereo amp capable of 170 watts per channel (with dedicated power supply for those 2 channels) and; 2) 5 additional amp channels to combine with the main channels for home theater surround sound. Run your audiophile preamp analog (or other line level) output into the T 785's dedicated 2 channel analog audio input for serious music listening. NAD's philosophy in designing this amp was ""music first" such that it can confidently promise you both state-of-the-art audiophile quality music listening and state-of-the-art surround home theater for years to come". For video surround sound - simply run HDMI from your computer, set top box, or DVD player into any of the 4 HDMI inputs. There's a good reason this unit's list price was $4,000! It was replaced by the current T 787 which sells for $4,000 and is is nearly identical except that it adds 3D video capability.

I am the original owner and the unit has received light use and works flawlessly. It is in excellent condition with the exception of three small and shallow scuff marks on the lower right side of the unit (documented in photos). As a result, I have listed it as being in "very good" condition and priced it 15% below refurbished units being sold by a big box retailer.
