This guitar has one humbucker and the one mounted on the guitar is a GFS humbucker. I can´t find this exact model, but you can read about them on guitarfetish(dot)com website.
This pickup sounds really good, with both clean tones and with lots of distortion.
The body is sturdy and bigger than a Les Paul. This is a well built guitar. The Retromatic is a fast shredder, with a low action set up on a 243/4″-scale-length rosewood fingerboard a on a set maple neck with a low heel profile to boot. There are 21 frets plus a 3/4 fret over the body, which comprises a mahogany block with maple laminate top, back, and sides. Comfortable shallow-D neck.
I have cleaned and oiled the fingerboard, polished the frets, polished the body, put on some new strings (Ernie Ball Slinky cobalt steel plain strings 10-46) and intonated the strings.
Original hard case and original humbucker also included.
