Unknown maker this Parlor guitar looks to be made in either Germany or Russia with the Clockwork key adjustable cantilevered neck. What makes it very unique is the seventh string which is common with 19th century Russian guitars even though I would date this a little later with neck construction. The back and sides are Brazilian laminate with a spruce top a gorgeous snowflake inlaid rosette, herringbone purfling wth beautiful romantic period bridge. The tone on this guitar is unbelievable with punchy clear mids, deep lows(7th string) and clear highs, lots of possibilities with this guitar.
Guitar is in overall good condition, the neck appears straight although it may need a reset. Someone branded "Martin and Co" on the back of the guitar. Otherwise guitar appears to be fantastically playable given its age. If you know anything about this guitar, we would love to hear about it.
