ESP KN 0 Signature Model Black 9mm Parabellum Bullet

9mm Parabellum Bullet bassist Kazuhiko Nakamura's new model ESP KN-0 is now on sale with a limited edition of 9 pieces. We are checking the function and condition of each part. The images shown are actual images.
In recent years, I mainly use the PJ-specification prototype that was created based on the signature model Untitled. The KN-0 is the new signature model that was completed over several years as the final model. This time, we will release a special version of KN-0 with a limited number of nine.

Untitled, a signature model based on the early AP, was equipped with only one humbucker-style pickup, but the frequency of using P-type pickups in recordings has increased. As a result, the KN-0 has evolved by changing the pickup to the PJ specification, increasing the sound variation, and making it a versatile model that reflects that specification.

The body uses heavy white ash. The neck is hard maple and the fingerboard is rosewood. It has 22 frets, one more than Untitled.

Like Untitled, the body and neck are detachable and fixed with 6 bolts. The degree of adhesion and sense of unity are increased.

The pickup adopts a combination of ESP Custom Lab CL-PJ-1b and CL-PP-1. ESP CI-R-03 is built into the EQ circuit. Compared to ESP cinnamon, the range in the high and low frequencies is slightly wider, and the combination with the ESP custom lab pickup features a clear and powerful wide sound. In addition, the KN-0 is equipped with a clear pickguard that takes advantage of the ash wood grain. A part of the CL-PP-1's bass string side pickguard has been shaved so that it can be properly stabilized when the thumb is placed on the instrument during finger picking.
Comes with a special tour case with a black 9mm Parabellum Bullet logo and an autographed certificate. Also included is a brass control cavity plate to add even more weight to the body, and two stickers that can be applied to the plate.
In addition, Nakamura himself will do the final check for all 9 pieces this time before shipping.

This is the first signature model in a long time. It's a limited number, but I'm happy to finally be able to release it. I hope that it will be accepted by players of various genres with one that can be widely used.
