The Class A Boost is a transparent, discreet, transistor based, analog signal booster. Its J-FET circuit enables instrument and line level use with up to 20 dB of clean boost.
The original 18 volt DC power supply is included. The pedal will run on a standard Boss-type 9 volt DC, negative tip power supply (not included) as well.
