The PRS Custom 22 solidbody electric guitar gives you the classic tone of vintage-style humbuckers in a gloriously appointed solidbody instrument. The Custom 22's mahogany body is topped with a stunning figured maple 10-Top. You'll delight in the feel of the 22-fret mahogany neck with its comfortable Pattern neck carve and rosewood fingerboard, while premium TCI-tuned 85/15 humbucking pickups serve up a banquet of rich tones. A five-way pickup selector switch provides even more tonal possibilities. For versatility, playability, and looks, it's hard to beat the PRS Custom 22 solidbody electric guitar.

Top-shelf craftsmanship

The PRS Custom 22 is one of those guitars that you just can't put down. PRS enjoys a well-deserved reputation for marrying sonic mojo with mouth-watering visuals and outstanding playability. PRS has done their usual outstanding job with this Custom 22. From the smooth traveling PRS Gen III tremolo to the wide sonic palette of the 85/15 humbuckers and the gorgeous figured maple top, this axe was built to sound, play, and look amazing. This PRS Custom 22 has the tone you need for any gig.

Ear-tuned 85/15 pickups

PRS retooled these pickups to bring the sweet harmonics and chunky warmth of this classic design to your Custom 22 10-Top. Each set of pickups has been ear-tuned to perfection by Paul and his team, a process known as Tuned Capacitance and Inductance (TCI). The end result is a very musical pickup that’s true to its lineage, but updated for the modern player.

Pattern profile neck feels great and plays smoothly

The Custom 22 is fitted with PRS's Pattern neck. A hallmark of PRS quality, neck shapes are, of course, critical to your playing experience. Perfected after years of prototyping, the Pattern neck is an updated wide-fat PRS neck style based on designs Paul Reed Smith did in the '70s and '80s for Carlos Santana, Peter Frampton, and Howard Leese of Heart. The PRS Custom 22's bound rosewood fingerboard is beautifully smooth under your fingers. And with exquisite bird inlays, no one will mistake your axe for anything other than a PRS.
