Up for grabs we have here for sale probably one of the holy grails of Japanese electronics! Maxon back in the day were producing pickups for companies such as Ibanez, greco, and Yamaha and are considered to be some of the best ever made, even rivaling gibson and a lot of outer more well known manufacturers.
I received these pickups exactly as you see them so unfortunately I’m not too sure where they came out of but what I can say is that they’re absolutely era correct and unlike a lot of the ones you find on here these are hot! Not your standard PAF style but closer in resistance to a super distortion.
This pickup is in good overall condition and is in fully working order and measuring in at 13.7k
