About This Listing

This is a fantastic Guild Starfire made in the USA in 1963. This is a rare transitional version that still has the short "open-book" headstock but also has the more modern Guild humbucking pickups. The label says Starfire III but it has a G-tailpiece which is correct for a Starfire II. This guitar has been pro-setup in our store and plays great. There is some residue from a sticker on the back. All parts appear to be original. It weighs 6 pounds 2.8 ounces and comes with the original case.
