1993 Heritage Alvin Lee. Very rare, plays like a dream, and a tone monster!
I acquired this guitar as part of an overall larger trade. Plan was to sell it but I have kept it for several months because it's a dream guitar to play. As you will see in the photos, I removed what I assume to be the original factory stickers. The result was some residue left on the finish but only noticeable when looking at it from angles against light. Photos are attached of the remaining residue. I am including a new set of Alvin Lee "335" stickers should you wish to re-apply. There is also a very small nick on the side of neck as you will see in the photo.
Weight is right at 7 1/2 lbs. Recently set up professionally by Righteous Guitars of Alpharetta GA.
All components and pickups appear to be factory originals as well as the tuners, bridge and all other components. The exception is the (5th) knob and pot that controls the volume of the middle single coil. This will blend in or out with the Humbuckers. That has been professionally replaced as well as the pop-up springs for the coil splitting tone knobs.
Please note that I removed the stickers (as seen in one of the photos). I do include a new set of Alvin Lee 335 style stickers in case you wish to apply them.
This is a historic instrument and one of only very few ever made by The Heritage in Kalamazoo.
