The Torino TR33 was one of the two top of the line SG clones available. I've taken pics of it both inside and outside. The only flaw is a gouge at the tip of the headstock which thanks to an un-named carrier happened on its way to me (see pics). Other than the gouge it is in fantastic shape with zero fret wear. I had a Gibson SG III in the 80s also equipped with mini humbuckers and this gutiar leaves it in the dust. The pickups are Duncan Designed mini humbuckers and it has a wide tonal range. It is strung with Super Slinky 9s. One unique thing about this guitar is it has a 3-piece neck. Something Aria Pro II employed in the late 70s and early 80s resulting in a VERY stable neck. The grain of the center piece opposes the outside pieces. It weighs in at 5.6 lbs so it's no shoulder killer. Another good thing about this guitar that can't be said about its "inspiration" is the string break angle from the nut to tuners is almost straight so no "pinging" or "popping" when tuning or bending.
