This is a Pan orchestra size, Japanese made acoustic guitar from the 60’s or 70’s. I purchased this guitar a few years ago from a friend and have been very fond of it but I recently bought an expensive acoustic and need to recoup the cost. This guitar is very similar to a Yamaha of the same era but has a Martin style. It is all laminate spruce top and mahogany back and sides with a soft-V shaped mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and adjustable rosewood bridge. A JL Bridge Dr. has been installed to keep the top flat and stable and improve the sound. It also has bone bridge pins and a fresh set of strings. The guitar has been setup and frets have been leveled and dressed and have lots of life left in them. This guitar sounds absolutely amazing and it plays great! See video demo!! These are hard to come by yet undervalued currently. You will be hard pressed to find a solid top guitar under $600 that sounds as good as this little laminated beauty. There are many signs of use, scratches, dings, finish fade spots, but overall it looks good and sonically it delivers. It had a 60’s Dearmond pickup installed before but that pickup is worth more than the guitar so it was taken out and a jack left in place. See photos closely and carefully for cosmetic details. You must see the video to appreciate what a great guitar this is for the money. A vintage Japanese acoustic that won’t break the bank and you won’t have to worry about bringing it around to the beach or the campground and everyone will enjoy how good it sounds!
