AEA RPQ500 1-channel 500 Series Preamp Module

The RPQ 500 is an excellent preamp module from AEA’s 500 series of products. Designed for controls for ribbon microphones, it also works flawlessly with solid-state and tube mics, offering you a variety of control features. It features a “Curve Shaper” to alter your low and high frequencies to remove booming on your low end sounds and add an airy presence to your highs. This unit can also be switched over to line level for direct EQ usage during mixing and even mastering. The RPQ 500 is a necessary tool to add to your recording capabilities if you are working with ribbon mics- don’t pass up the ability to get more out of your microphone!
