Ladies & Gentlemen, if I may have your attention.
Here is a real deal, late 50's, solid birch, American made Harmony archtop guitar. This one is in very good shape and a player. The neck is straight and it holds tune. The action is medium and great for open tuning and slide but perfectly fine for cowboy chords.
It has the most remarkable tiger stripe grain I have ever seen on any archtop (top, sides and neck). Harmony USA only used solid woods on even their cheapest models. The neck joint is as tight as the day it was originally glued. It has a few age spots but nothing of note. There is a slight crack in the finish above the left f hole but it is stable and cosmetic. The pick guard has been lost to history but it looks better without it. It has certainly made a lot of music but the frets are good and there is no scalloping. The serial number dates it to 1957/58 according to our research. Comes with it's original case which is pretty rough.
