The Sony PS-2510, released in Japan in 1973 during Japan's "Golden Era" of high-fidelity audiophile equipment, is an exceptional direct-drive turntable from a company which has made great audio equipment for decades. The PS-2510 features an AC servo motor and a 31 cm die-cast aluminum platter. Rotational accuracy is maintained by a neon lamp stroboscope feedback system, and the servo circuit uses a dedicated IC, which improves reliability. The tonearm and plinth designs specifically reduce vibrational resonances to enhance the SNR of the unit. By virtue of these innovations and others, the sound of the PS-2510 is regarded by many listeners as being fantastic. These sold very well in Japan during their production, and they are still highly sought after. Don’t miss this one in excellent condition!
