Roland G303
24.75" scale-length mahogany/maple build with a dark stain. Kind of a Gibson SG meets Ibanez Artist; built in 1985 in the Fuji-gen factory (probably a Japanese Ibanez build). The craftsmanship is very similar to my other 1980s Ibanezes and it plays nicely. The frets are in good shape, goo intonation and no buzz; tuners and bridge are great, keep tune well.
The wood is in nice condition besides for a minor chip on bass-side of neck at 12th fret and a small drill-hole in back (a Gibson-style heel strap button was installed and later removed at some point). The set-up is good with nice action and light touch although the high-E string nut-file has a piece of card-stock paper to raise it and prevent buzz - plays well as is but cosmetically you'd want a new nut to remove the paper.
The on-board GK synth electronics and pots are working fine from my understanding -- the synth issue (described in GR-300 listing) seems to be a problem with the GR-300.
All 6 hex/GK strings track well. Really a fantastic guitar on its own--includes the original hard case. Same model as used by Pat Metheny, King Crimson, Andy Summers, etc. back in the 80s. Good shape for vintage guitar.
Roland GR-300
Analog synthesizer pedal-module and 24-pin cable are sold separately.
