Take this 2018 G1 as a great example. This G1 does it all. The back and sides are Mike’s reserve grade, 80-year-old Cocobolo, here paired with an Adirondack Spruce top, Honduran Mahogany neck, and a Laskin-inspired arm bevel. Additional appointments include a heel “swoosh” carve, florentine cutaway, clear pickguard, and custom splatter-style Calton flight case.
